Mother's awful final moments on driveway of her comfortable home after husband turned up DRUNK in his truck

By WILL POTTER, US SENIOR NEWS REPORTER Published: 19:42, 1 July 2026 | Updated: 19:49, 1 July 2026 Shocking surveillance footage captured the final moments of a Georgia mother when she was dragged down her driveway by a car allegedly driven by her drunk estranged ex-husband.  Janice Frazier, 58, was seen in footage outside her home in Dekalb County, Georgia being pulled by a black SUV after she went to confront her ex-husband when he showed up out of the blue, her family said.  Frazier's family said her ex-husband, who has not been publicly identified, arrived at her home around 2am on June 21, while heavily intoxicated, per WSBTV.  He was seen swigging from a flask as he got out of his car, and appearing to knock on Frazier's front door before returning to his truck.  Frazier then ran outside in an attempt to stop him from driving drunk, and he briefly got out of the vehicle until he tried to run back to the driver's seat.  As Frazier ran back to the driver's side door and began banging on the window, the truck accelerated away and dragged her down the driveway.  Frazier lost her grip and fell hard into the asphalt, and police say she was ran over by the front of the truck.  Surveillance showed the driver then returning to the home and dragging Frazier's body up the driveway, where her family said her ex-husband changed her clothes and called her son.  Shocking surveillance footage captured the final moments of Georgia mother Janice Frazier, 58, when she was dragged down her driveway by a car allegedly driven by her drunk estranged ex-husband Frazier, 58, was seen in footage outside her home in Dekalb County, Georgia being pulled by a black SUV, as her family claimed she went to confront her ex-husband when he showed up drunk out of the blue Frazier's family said they have been left devastated by her sudden passing and are demanding police carry out a full investigation  Frazier's family claimed that when her ex-husband called her son to the home, he pleaded innocence and told him he did not know what happened.  'For a son to see that, it was just not called for,' her nephew Chris Frazier told WSBTV.  'This was so unexpected... This just hit us like a storm. We didn’t see this coming from a mile away.'  Frazier's niece Ashley Black also alleged that Frazier's ex-husband did not ever appear to help her during the incident.  'To not even call 911, not to try to do CPR, but to drag her up a driveway, it’s just heartless,' Black said.   Frazier's niece added that her loved ones are demanding police fully investigate the episode, but are thankful that the incident was caught on surveillance camera.  'The cameras told the entire story,' she said.  Chris Frazier added, 'We really want justice because we lost a very special person in our family.'  The surveillance footage initially showed the driver swigging from a flask in the driveway when he showed up, before Frazier tried to stop him speeding away Seconds before the truck accelerated away, Frazier was seen holding the driver's side door and pleading them not to drive  After allegedly running over Frazier, her family claimed the ex-husband then returned to the home, dragged her body back up the driveway and changed her clothes before calling her son and saying he did not know what happened  Following Frazier's passing, her family alleged that they uncovered a letter from the ex-husband written on the day of the incident, where he said he had struggled to move on from their break up Following Frazier's passing, her family alleged that they uncovered a letter from the ex-husband written on the day of the incident, where he said he had struggled to move on from their break up.  They said in the days after she died, he returned to the home to pick up his belongings from a storage shed.   Dekalb County Police have said Frazier's death remains under investigation, but have not commented on details regarding Frazier's ex-husband.
