Mother-of-three is allegedly killed in her Ferntree Gully home as a man is charged with murder

Irish national Annmarie O'Reilly, 30, was found injured at a property on Ferntree Gully Road in Ferntree Gully, east Melbourne, at 10am on Friday. Despite attempts by emergency services, Ms O'Reilly could not be saved. A 45-year-old man, known to Ms O'Reilly, was arrested later that day and charged with one count of murder on Saturday. He fronted Melbourne Magistrates' Court and was remanded to appear in February. Ms O'Reilly's brother Jimmy took to Facebook to share a heartbreaking tribute. 'Rest in peace to my beautiful sister,' he wrote. 'Really can't believe it. The nicest woman you'd meet, the best mother to her kids.
