Morrisons Daily at Parkwood Green Shopping Centre in Rainham, Kent, will pull down its shutters for the last time on 3 July.‌The supermarket chain announced on Tuesday that it had reached the "difficult decision" to close the store following a strategic review. The news has left local residents disappointed, with some cautioning that elderly shoppers will be hit hardest by the closure. From July, customers will need to make their way to alternative Morrisons Daily stores on Luton Road and Admiral Walk in Chatham.
