The man had worked at the Aldridge store, near Walsall, but everything changed after an incident at the shop in December.‌Sean said he attempted to stop a repeat shoplifter who was trying to leave the supermarket with stolen goods. Sean, from Wolverhampton, said: "As part of the policy for me as the store manager, it is to escort him out the premises yet as I was doing so he was very aggressive and spitting at me."The man said an altercation happened after he tried to remove the person from the supermarket but had been spat at, Sean told the BBC.
