One popular feature of many of the supermarket's 500 UK stores is the custom salad bar, which has undergone a major update as of Monday, April 13, 2026.‌Bosses have confirmed that from today, the salad bar is "getting even bigger and better" with more options to make a "truly customised dish". The update includes new toppings, "flavour-packed" sides and dressings, and an expanded range of protein-rich options.‌The supermarket sells around 370,000 salad bar tubs each week during the summer months alone, bosses claim. With the weather starting to warm up, people might be tempted to have a salad over other options.‌Starting from just £2.75 for a small salad bar tub, customers can enjoy items for less than the price of a typical meal deal. The medium salad bar tub can be purchased along with a snack and a drink for just £3.75 as part of the Food To Go meal deal, plus the new protein pots are now available as one of the snack options.As part of the revamped offerings, Morrisons has also launched a new extra-large Family Salad Tub (£5.95).
