Amid their efforts to move forward after the Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) ordeal in Coronation Street, the Driscoll family are going to face another huge problem soon as they discover there’s a high chance Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) is going to go to prison.
The situation begins when Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) decides to get drunk at the pub.
At the time, she believes that her relationship with George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is reaching an end due to the fact he’s barely been in touch while he’s been away.
After drinking far too much booze, Christina topples over in the ginnel. She’s spotted by Jake Windass (Bobby Bradshaw), who pours water all over her and films the entire thing on his phone.
Just as Jake pours the water onto Christina, Ollie shouts at him to stop. The young lad rushes through the ginnel, forcing Ollie to race after him.
Christina and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) find Ollie with Jake pinned to the floor. Christina shouts at Ollie, telling him that Jake only used water. Totally mortified, Ollie releases him.
In the aftermath, Jake’s dad Gary Windass (Mikey North) tells his son that it’s important for him to be honest when he makes his statement to the police.
Meanwhile, Christina and Glenda assure Ollie that he acted in good faith, but that doesn’t help him at all when PC Jess Heywood arrives and arrests him on suspicion of assault.
With Ollie potentially facing a custodial sentence, dad Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) tells Gary that there’s a high chance his son might go to prison.
Jake listens into their chat, totally awash with guilt.
Will Jake tell the truth and reveal what really happened so Ollie can return home?
