CCTV showed he was speeding in a 20mph speed limit and riding dangerously before colliding with Mr Cameron on Northgate. In a video released by Cleveland Police, Mr Cameron's father Andy describes the devastating moment he was told about his son. He said: 'The moment I found out about my son had been involved in a serious collision was when his mum called me. 'She couldn't describe what happened. We were speaking on video call so she actually flipped the camera around and I that's when I see my son lying on the ground with a lot of people trying to help him. 'The only thing going through my head at that time was I needed to get up there for him and make sure my boy is okay. 'Knowing that Liam Kenny had left my son in the road after the accident, trying to get up it still boils my blood.' Detective Constable Aileen Ward said: 'This case highlights the devastating consequences that dangerous driving can have on individuals, families and communities.
