The decision comes after questions were raised over unusually high marks secured by some candidates, including scores of 200 out of 200 in the MMRDA recruitment examination. India Today was the first to report the development. The examination was conducted online by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). A total of 26,749 candidates applied for the recruitment, while 20,459 appeared for the examination. MMRDA has constituted a three-member high-level committee to independently examine the complaints and objections received from candidates. The panel will be headed by Johnny Joseph, former Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. IIT Bombay professors Shyamprasad Kargade and Daska Satyanarayana Murthy will be the other members. The committee members have experience in conducting major competitive examinations, including JEE (Advanced), UCEED, CEED, JAM and GATE.
