أفاد مكتب أبوظبي الإعلامي، الخميس، بأن الجهات المختصة تعاملت مع حادث نتيجة سقوط شظايا في شارع سويحان إثر الاعتراض الناجح لصاروخ باليستي من قبل الدفاعات الجوية.

وأضاف المكتب في منشور على منصة "إكس": "أسفر الحادث عن مقتل شخصين لم يتم تحديد هويتهما بعد، وإصابة 3 أشخاص آخرين، إلى جانب تضرُّر عدد من المركبات".

وتابع: "وسيتم موافاتكم بالمستجدات حال توافرها. ونهيب بالجمهور استقاء المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية فقط، وتجنُّب تداول الشائعات أو المعلومات غير الموثوقة".
