Filistinliler, refakatçileriyle birlikte ambulanslar eşliğinde otobüslerle Gazze'nin güneyindeki Han Yunus kentinde bulunan Nasır Hastanesi'ne ulaştırıldı. Filistinlileri taşıyan otobüslerin Gazze'ye girişiyle birlikte ailelerin buluşmasında duygusal anlar yaşandı. Filistinliler uzun süre ayrı kaldıkları yakınlarına sarılarak hasret giderdi. AA muhabirine konuşan Abir Hamdan, Gazze'ye döndüğü için çok mutlu olduğunu söyledi. Tedavi için Gazze'den ayrılmak zorunda kaldığını belirten Hamdan, yaşadığı sevinci "Nefes alabildik." sözleriyle dile getirdi. İki yılı aşkın süredir vatanından ayrı kaldığını ve gurbetin çok zor olduğunu vurgulayan Hamdan, Gazze'nin dünyadaki en güzel yer olduğunu söyledi. Filistinli Hasan Ebu Leyle ise yaklaşık üç yıl sonra Mısır'daki ailesine kavuşmanın sevincini yaşadığını aktardı. Ebu Leyle, eşi ve çocuklarının Gazze'deki yıkım, ağır saldırılar ve tekrarlanan zorunlu göçler nedeniyle bölgeden ayrılarak Mısır'a gitmek zorunda kaldığını anlattı. Ailesinin sağ salim geri dönmesinden dolayı Allah'a şükrettiğini söyleyen Ebu Leyle, Gazze'de kalmaya devam edeceklerini vurguladı. Filistin Kızılayının dün yaptığı açıklamaya göre, Refah Sınır Kapısı'nın kısıtlı olarak açıldığı 2 Şubat'tan bu yana yalnızca 700 yaralı tedavi için Gazze dışına çıkabildi. Tedavi için Gazze dışına çıkmayı bekleyen 18 bin yaralı ve hasta bulunuyor.
