Bulgar Gabriela Stoeva-Stefani Steova ikilisi ile karşılaştı. Milli sporcular, final müsabakasında 21-11 ve 21-17'lik setlerle 2-0 mağlup olarak gümüş madalyanın sahibi oldu ve Türkiye'nin Avrupa şampiyonaları tarihindeki en iyi derecesini elde etti. Tek kadınlar kategorisinde Neslihan Arın, yarı finalde İskoçyalı rakibi Kirsty Gilmour'a 21-16, 14-21 ve 11-21'lik setlerle 2-1 yenilerek bronz madalya kazandı. Türkiye'nin, büyükler Avrupa badminton şampiyonalarındaki madalya sayısı 7'ye (1 gümüş, 6 bronz) yükseldi.
