Meghan Markle shared a sweet moment with singer Pia Toscano at a charity gala celebrating music mogul David Foster in Victoria, Canada, last week.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had travelled from their Montecito home to attend the event, which supports the David Foster Foundation - a charity dedicated to helping families whose children need lifesaving organ transplants.
Following the evening's festivities, Ms Toscano, who is expecting her first child in December, revealed the duchess had offered warm words about her pregnancy.
"This is the most beautiful time of your life," Meghan told the singer, according to Page Six, reportedly placing her hand on Toscano's stomach.
The 16-time Grammy winner, Mr Foster, 76, and his wife, actress Katharine McPhee, 42, were also present alongside the Sussexes at the star-studded affair.
Ms Toscano had delivered a stirring rendition of the classic number Feeling Good before the encounter took place. After stepping off stage, the singer made her way over to the Sussexes, who were seated at the head table.
According to Ms Toscano, Meghan immediately embraced her before offering her heartfelt congratulations on the pregnancy.

Harry, meanwhile, demonstrated his own thoughtfulness by offering to shift a chair for the expectant performer - a small but considerate gesture that did not go unnoticed.
The interaction painted a picture of genuine warmth from the couple, with the duchess drawing on her own experience as a mother of two to connect with the singer during what was clearly an emotional evening for all involved.
Similar to Ms Toscano, Britain's Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas also performed at the gala, and enjoyed a heartwarming interaction with the Sussexes.

After her rendition of Tomorrow, from the film Annie, and Frank Sinatra's My Way, Harry broke royal protocol by embracing the singer with a warm hug, admitting that he "felt that in the back of my throat".
She later shared a photograph of her meeting with Harry on Instagram, describing it as "an absolute pinch me moment" and calling the duke "the most loveliest soul."
The Sussexes' bond with Mr Foster stretches back years. In 2019, the Canadian music producer arranged accommodation for them at a friend's mansion on Vancouver Island during a particularly turbulent period.
"I felt honoured that I was able to help Meghan there because I'm a Canadian, and we're a Commonwealth country; we're the Crown's. It's important to us, so I grew up with that kind of sentiment," Mr Foster told the Daily Mail.
Mrs McPhee and Meghan first knew one another as teenagers at the same school. Their husbands subsequently developed their own close connection.
"My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry," Mrs McPhee told Access Hollywood in 2020. "They're like, they're so cute. They're like father and son."
