Şanlıurfa'daki Siverek Ahmet Koyuncu Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi ile Kahramanmaraş'ın Onikişubat ilçesindeki Ayser Çalık Ortaokulunda yaşanan olayların ardından merkez, il ve ilçe düzeyinde hızlı koordinasyonla psikososyal destek süreçleri eş zamanlı yürütülmeye başlandı. Bu kapsamda Bakan Yusuf Tekin'in talimatlarıyla, Özel Eğitim ve Rehberlik Hizmetleri Genel Müdürü Mustafa Otrar ile daire başkanları ve uzmanlardan oluşan heyet, süreçleri yerinde koordine etmek amacıyla her iki ilde, il ve ilçe krize müdahale ekipleriyle kapsamlı planlama toplantıları gerçekleştirip faaliyetlere başladı. Şanlıurfa'da olayın ardından, 49 rehber öğretmen ve psikolojik danışman sahada görevlendirildi. İl genelinde oluşturulan krize müdahale ekibi ile psikososyal destek hizmetlerinin etkin ve sürdürülebilir şekilde yürütülmesi için gerekli planlamalar tamamlanarak destek süreçleri başladı. Kahramanmaraş'ta ise sahadaki çalışmaların kesintisiz devam etmesi amacıyla okulların tatil olduğu iki günlük süreçte il genelinde 70 rehber öğretmen ve psikolojik danışman görevlendirildi. Kayıp yaşayan ailelere yönelik psikolojik ilk yardım çalışmaları yürütülerek taziye ziyaretleri gerçekleştirildi, yaralı öğrenciler ve aileleri de ziyaret edilerek destek sağlandı. Gelecek hafta başından itibaren Bakanlık tarafından görevlendirilen 20 alan uzmanı rehber öğretmen ve psikolojik danışman, Ayser Çalık Ortaokulu öğrenci ve personelinin eğitim öğretime devam edeceği Şehit Tebernuş Özler Ortaokulu binasında öğretmen, idareci ve velilere yönelik psikososyal destek çalışmalarını sürdürecek. İl genelinde travma alanında uzman 89 rehber öğretmen ve psikolojik danışmanın yanı sıra toplam 700 rehber öğretmen ile destek hizmetleri kesintisiz şekilde devam edecek.
