The six-time major winner had vowed to hold off on his response out of respect for the ongoing Masters.‌As Rory McIlroy was handed his green jacket for the second consecutive year on Sunday at Augusta National, he entered the exclusive club of just four golfers to have won the tournament in successive years.‌That elite group includes Faldo, who triumphed in Georgia in both 1989 and 1990 before securing a third crown in 1996.
