Manhunt underway after group sped away from vicious stabbing in Brisbane that left man fighting for life

Emergency services were called to a home on Arrabri Avenue, Jindalee, about 3.45pm on Thursday following reports of a 'physical altercation'. Neighbours had called triple zero after an elderly woman living at the home yelled for someone to call police, 9News reported. Her son, 42, suffered several stab wounds and was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Queensland Police confirmed it is looking for three people who fled the scene in a white Audi sedan.  No one was harmed by the car as it sped away, police said.  'A crime scene was declared, and multiple people involved in the disturbance are currently assisting police with their enquiries,' police said in a statement. 'Officers believe that the involved people were known to each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Police are investigating after a 42-year-old man was stabbed in Jindalee, west Brisbane, on Thursday afternoon Blood was seen splattered on a car (above) left at the scene 'Investigations into the circumstances of the incident and into locating the outstanding vehicle and people are ongoing.'  Footage from the scene showed blood splattered on a nearby white car parked in the driveway. Forensic officers remained at the scene on Thursday evening.  Queensland Police asked anyone with information or footage to contact them.
