Police were called to the drive-through restaurant on Laver Drive in Robina at around 9.45pm on Saturday following reports of an incident. Witnesses said the man driving a brown Nissan Patrol became impatient and tried to leave the drive-through. It is alleged he rammed the car in front, which had two teenagers inside. The incident caused significant damage to both vehicles. The man then allegedly got out and threatened the teenagers with a screwdriver before locking his car and fleeing on foot. The teenagers suffered hand and lower back injuries from the incident. They were taken to Robina Hospital for treatment.
