Manchester United : Harry Maguire pose ses conditions pour prolonger !

L’avenir de Harry Maguire à Manchester United se précise, mais reste conditionné à un point clé. En fin de contrat cet été, le défenseur de 33 ans discute actuellement avec sa direction autour d’une prolongation courte, tout en posant ses exigences.

Maguire pose ses conditions pour rester

L’international anglais ne souhaite pas prolonger sans garanties sportives.

« Je pense que nous trouverons un accord qui sera le mieux pour le club et pour moi. (…) Mais je pense que cela sera réglé tôt ou tard », a-t-il confié.

Avant d’ajouter :

« Oui, j’aime ce club. Mais il faut que ce soit juste pour moi, il faut que ce soit juste pour le club aussi. Je ne veux pas rester par sentimentalité ».

Plus qu’un simple contrat, Maguire réclame un rôle central dans le projet :

« Je veux rester parce que j’ai envie d’être là et que le club veut que je fasse avancer le club (…) Et si c’est le cas, je suis sûr que nous nous assiérons et que nous trouverons un accord ».

Une position claire, qui laisse désormais la balle dans le camp de Manchester United.
