The A555 is closed in both directions with multiple police vehicles at the scene and all traffic currently being held. Paramedics are thought to be responding to a serious collision, reports Manchester Evening News. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We are dealing with a serious incident on the A555 Manchester Airport Relief Road between Cheadle and Poynton with both sides of the carriageway currently closed.
