The former Spain midfielder has been out of work since leaving his post as Barcelona boss in 2024 but is being eyed for a return to the dugout. ‌ According to The Independent, the 46-year-old is one of a number of potential targets and seen as a more realistic option than Como's Cesc Fabregas. However, if he moves to Stamford Bridge, he will likely do so with no Champions League football. ‌ The only way the Blues can return to European football's top table is if they finish sixth, Aston Villa finish fifth and Unai Emery's side also win the Europa League.
