Four men, aged 20, 22, 42 and 47, were rushed to hospital with stab wounds on Friday afternoon while a fifth man, aged 26, has also been taken to hospital. The fifth man has also been arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. Emergency services rushed to the scene, in Horn Lane, Acton, West London following reports of a stabbing at 2.47pm on Friday. It is understood that none of the men have sustained life-threatening or life-changing injuries in the attack. Chief Superintendent Jill Horsfall said: 'We recognise this will be concerning for the local community and want to reassure them that our detectives are working quickly to establish exactly what has taken place. 'Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days. 'If you have any concerns, please come and speak to our officers.' A Met Police spokesperson told the Daily Mail: 'Police on patrol on Horn Lane, Acton at 14.47hrs on Friday, 22 May were alerted to reports that five men had been involved in an altercation, whereby they were assaulted and stabbed. 'Officers provided emergency first aid to the five people. 'Four of the men, aged 20, 22, 42 and 47, were taken to hospital with stab wounds. 'Their condition has been deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing. 'Another man – aged 26 – was taken to hospital where his injuries have also been deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing. 'He has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession with intent to supply Class A & B drugs but remains in hospital at this time.'
