In fact, most people won't find anything other than high street brands in their local charity shops, and while these can be very useful, they don't necessarily give you the same rush as finding something truly valuable.‌One man believed he had hit the jackpot when he found a white shirt in a charity shop that had a horse logo on the pocket. Picking it up, he was convinced it was a Ralph Lauren piece, as the designer's logo does feature a horse.‌But when he got his shirt home and showed it to his daughter, she was quick to tell him he'd made a huge mistake, as he'd somehow managed to buy a shirt that formerly belonged to a Lloyds Bank employee.Sharing the blunder on X, the man's daughter, named Emma, wrote: "Dad's at it again. He needed a white shirt but didn't want to waste money on something to wear once, so he bought one from a charity shop. He tells me it's got a horse on the pocket.
