Man and woman are charged with murder and human remains found four years after Chad Bishop disappeared

Chad Bishop, 46, was last seen at a property at Beenleigh, south of Brisbane, on March 3, 2022. Queensland Police executed a search warrant at a property on Old Trafford Road at Bethania before finding human remains on Monday. A 52-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were charged with one count each of murder and interfere with a corpse. The pair will front Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Mr Bishop's mother Karen Wood said in April 2022 that her son was a good man. 'He had a beautiful nature,' she said. 'Caring, loving, we were very, very close. Ms Woods said she would go four or five days at most without speaking to her son and described his disappearance as out of character.
