Ahmad Alkozai, from Birmingham, was arrested in the Bristol area on Friday, less than 24 hours after the victim was killed in Sparkbrook.  He has since been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Walsall Magistrates' Court on Monday. West Midlands Police were called to Walford Road at around 6.20pm on Thursday following reports that a man had been attacked. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts the victim, who is believed to have been in his 40s, died a short time later. Police have not yet formally named him. Detectives believe the stabbing was a targeted incident involving individuals who were known to one another. Three other men were also arrested as part of the investigation on suspicion of assisting an offender after officers carried out inquiries in the Bristol area. The trio have since been released on conditional bail while investigations continue.
