The best date to see them will be April 22. The constellation Lyra rises in the north-east and climbs higher as the night goes on.‌To find Lyra, look for Vega, one of the brightest stars in the night sky at this time of year. Vega will shine brightly above the north-eastern horizon shortly after sunset and rise higher into the sky overnight. Stargazing apps can help pinpoint it.But don't stare directly at the radiant, because the longest and most dramatic streaks are often seen slightly away from it.
