‘Listen to the people!’ Unite the Kingdom demonstrators make plea to Keir Starmer
Protestors attending the Unite the Kingdom rally in London have issued a plea to Keir Starmer to “listen to the people”.
Speaking to GB News, a number of rally-goers explained why they had taken to the streets alongside as many as 100,000 others.
“We're here to try and get the government to listen to the people, because that's all we want,” one said.
“We want people to listen to the people. That's what they voted for. And that we wouldn't be here if they listened,” he insisted.
Another said he had become “sick and tired of the Government”.
“They are just trying to stop everything we do. We can't go to this. We can't do that. You can't do this.
“It's just endless things that the Government wants to stop you from doing. It's mainly just freedom of speech,” he added.
