لجنة أهالي المعتقلين تطالب أمن السلطة بالإفراج عن الحقوقي عمر عساف

أعربت لجنة أهالي المعتقلين السياسيين في الضفة المحتلة عن بالغ استنكارها وإدانتها الشديدة لاعتقال أجهزة السلطة في رام الله الأسير المحرر والقيادي الوطني والناشط الحقوقي عمر عساف من منزله، في خطوة خطيرة تمثل استهدافاً واضحاً للقيادات الوطنية والأصوات الحرة في الضفة المحتلة.

وقالت اللجنة في بيان لها، الخميس: إن اعتقال شخصية وطنية بارزة بحجم الأسير المحرر عمر عساف، المعروف بتاريخه النضالي ومواقفه الصلبة في الدفاع عن حقوق شعبنا، يعكس نهجًا خطيراً في التعامل مع العمل الوطني، ويؤكد استمرار سياسات التضييق على الحريات ومحاولة تكميم الأفواه.

وأكدت اللجنة أن شعبنا اليوم بأمسّ الحاجة إلى توحيد الصفوف وتعزيز الجبهة الداخلية في مواجهة الاحتلال وقطعان مستوطنيه، وإن استهداف النشطاء والقيادات الوطنية لا يخدم إلا الاحتلال.

ووجهت لجنة أهالي المعتقلين السياسيين نداءً إلى الفصائل الوطنية والمؤسسات والقوى السياسية كافة لتحمل مسؤولياتها الوطنية، والتدخل العاجل لإدانة هذا السلوك ووقفه، والعمل على حماية الحريات العامة وصون الكرامة الوطنية، بما يعزز وحدة الموقف الفلسطيني في هذه المرحلة الحساسة.

وطالبت بالإفراج الفوري عن القيادي عمر عساف وكل المعتقلين السياسيين، ووقف سياسة الاعتقال على خلفية الرأي والتعبير والانتماء السياسي.
