The force received a report that a man had shot another man who was sitting stationary in his vehicle on Butler's Field.The victim, aged in his 30s, managed to drive a short distance and get inside a property. He was later taken to hospital with suspected gunshot wounds, but thankfully his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.Police say it is understood the suspect tried to leave the scene in a vehicle but collided with parked vehicles and eventually left on foot. Armed police and the National Police Air Service conducted a search.A man aged in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Fairford shortly before 10pm. He remains in custody.A firearm was recovered from the scene, police said.
