yaklaşık 500 aktivistin bulunduğu filo, Antalya'nın Kaş ve Kumluca ilçelerinin açıklarında ilerliyor. Kuzey Afrika hattında karadan ilerleyen Küresel Sumud Filosu konvoyu da Libya’nın batısındaki Zliten kentinden Misrata’ya doğru yol alıyor. Konvoydaki aktivistler, Libya’dan Mısır’a geçerek Gazze sınırına ulaşmayı hedefliyor. İsrail'in Gazze Şeridi'ne yönelik ablukasını kırmayı ve yaşamsal insani yardım ulaştırmayı amaçlayan Küresel Sumud Filosu 2026 Bahar Misyonu, İsrail ordusunun 29 Nisan gecesi Girit Adası açıklarında müdahalesine maruz kalmıştı. Uluslararası sularda hukuk dışı müdahalede bulunarak aktivistleri taşıyan teknelere saldıran İsrail ordusu, Gazze'ye 600 deniz mili uzaklıkta ve Yunan kara sularından birkaç mil açıkta 177 aktivisti alıkoyup kötü muamelede bulunmuştu.
