It comes amid reports of a jet fuel shortage across Europe due to the impact of the Middle East conflict. Last week, Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), warned there could be flight cancellations "soon" if oil supplies remain restricted by the Iran war.‌The Dutch airline has made a number of adjustments to its flight schedule for the coming month. Certain flights within Europe will be limited in response to skyrocketing jet fuel prices. The airline, however, stresses that "there is no kerosene shortage".‌When approached for comment, KLM told the Mirror: "KLM has made a number of adjustments to its flight schedule for the coming month.
