Kiddiwinks Warriewood bosses break silence after they fired worker accused of assaulting baby

The 10-month-old boy was allegedly assaulted several times by a female worker last month at Kiddiwinks Play Laugh & Learn in Warriewood, in Sydney's north. The centre's directors told the Daily Mail they sacked the 53-year-old woman as soon as they learned of the alleged incidents. 'The staff member was removed from the centre, and their employment was terminated. The child's family was notified straight away,' Toni Isaac and Nicole Youssef said. 'The child continues to attend the centre and is being supported, together with their family. Their wellbeing has been our focus throughout. 'We will continue to cooperate fully with authorities.' It comes after police revealed they had arrested the woman at a home in Mona Vale on Thursday afternoon and charged her with five counts of common assault. Police allege the woman assaulted the 10-month-old boy on May 26 and 27.
