Ağustos 2026ANKARAİsrail'de görevdeyken yolsuzluktan yargılanan ilk başbakan olarak tarihe geçen Netanyahu, hapse girmemek için uzun zamandır çaba harcıyor. Gazze Şeridi'ndeki soykırımın mimarı ve çoğu kadın ve çocuk olmak üzere 73 binden fazla Filistinlinin ölümünden sorumlu Netanyahu, kendi ülkesinde dahi "koltuğunu korumak için bölgeyi ateşe atmakla" eleştiriliyor. Uluslararası Ceza Mahkemesi'nin (UCM), 21 Kasım 2024'te Gazze'de işlenen savaş suçları ve insanlığa karşı suçlar nedeniyle hakkında tutuklama kararı çıkardığı Netanyahu, Gazze'nin yanı sıra bölge ülkelerine de saldırmaktan geri durmadı. Hakkındaki yolsuzluk davalarından kurtulmak ve koltuğunu korumak isteyen Netanyahu'nun döneminde İsrail, Gazze'deki soykırımın yanı sıra bölge ülkelerine de saldırılar düzenledi. Netanyahu, biri 2024 diğeri de 2026'da olmak üzere Lübnan'a iki ayrı saldırı başlattı. İran'a da biri 2025, diğeri de 2026'da olmak üzere 2 kez savaş açtı. Bunun yanı sıra Yemen'e ve Hamas ile İsrail arasındaki ateşkes görüşmelerinde arabulucu olan Katar'a yönelik saldırıların arkasındaki isim yine Netanyahu oldu. Beşşar Esed rejiminin devrilmesinin ardından 2024'te Netanyahu'nun başbakanlığında İsrail, Suriye'nin askeri alt yapısına yönelik çok sayıda saldırı düzenledi ve Suriye'nin güneyindeki bazı bölgeleri işgal etti. Saldırılar ve savaşlarla koltuğunu koruyan Netanyahu, ilk olarak Washington ile Tahran arasında varılan mutabakatın ardından ABD'nin baskısıyla istemeyerek de olsa İran'a saldırıları sonlandırdı. Bu karar nedeniyle Netanyahu, koalisyon ortakları ve muhalif liderler tarafından sert şekilde eleştirildi. Eski İsrail Başbakanı ve ana muhalefet partisi "Gelecek Var" lideri Yair Lapid, ABD ile İran arasında varılan mutabakatı eleştirerek, Netanyahu’nun "savaşı kaybettiğini" söyledi. ABD baskısıyla İran'la savaşı sonlandırmak zorunda kalmasıyla çizmeye çalıştığı "güçlü lider" imajı zayıflayan Netanyahu, daha sonra da yine Washington'un isteği doğrultusunda Lübnan'a saldırıları durdurmaya mecbur kaldı. Bu karar, Netanyahu'yu İsrail içerisinde daha da köşeye sıkıştırdı. Eski Savunma Bakanı ve muhalif lider Avigdor Liberman, Lübnan'da varılan ateşkesi eleştirerek, "Başbakan değil bir kukla" diyerek Netanyahu'yu hedef aldı. Netanyahu'nun koalisyon ortağı aşırı sağcı Ulusal Güvenlik Bakanı Itamar Ben-Gvir, İsrail Başbakanı'na seslenerek, "Güçlü bir başbakan, ABD Başkanı'na (Donald Trump) mümkün olduğunda 'evet' der ve gerektiğinde 'hayır' der, demiştiniz. Şimdi dostumuza, Başkan Trump'a 'hayır' deme zamanı." çağrısında bulundu. İsrail'de 120 sandalyeli Mecliste Netanyahu'nun partisi şu an için 32 sandalye ile birinci parti konumunda. Ancak 27 Ekim'de gerçekleştirilecek seçimler için yapılan kamuoyu yoklamalarına göre Netanyahu'nun partisi 32 sandalyeden 23'e gerilemiş durumda ve ikinci parti konumunda bulunuyor. Buna ek olarak anketler, Likud'un ve Netanyahu'nun aşırı sağcı ve Ultara-Ortodoks partilerden oluşan koalisyon ortaklarının milletvekili sayısının koalisyon hükümetini kurmak için gerekli 61 sandalyenin çok gerisinde kaldığını gösteriyor. İsrail'in Kanal 13 televizyonunun 19 Ağustos'ta yayımladığı ankete göre, Netanyahu ve koalisyon ortaklarının partilerinin toplam milletvekili sayısı 51'de kalıyor. ABD'nin baskısıyla İran ve Lübnan'daki saldırıları sonlandırmak zorunda kalan Netanyahu ve ekibi, 27 Ekim'de yapılacak seçimler için yürüttükleri kampanyada Türkiye karşıtlığına başvurdu. İsrail'in Suriye'nin İdlib ilinde yer alan atıl durumdaki Ebu Zuhur Askeri Hava Üssü'ne 18 Ağustos’ta düzenlediği saldırıdan haftalar önce bunun sinyalleri gelmeye başlamıştı. Netanyahu'nun partisi Likud Milletvekili ve Diaspora Bakanı Amichai Chikli, haziran ayında İsrail'de bir radyoya verdiği röportajda, ülkesinin “er veya geç Suriye ile savaşa gireceğini” iddia ederek, "Türkiye ve Suriye, İran'dan çok daha rahatsız edici birer gelişme." ifadesini kullandı. Sık sık Türkiye karşıtı paylaşımlarıyla dikkati çeken Chikli, Türkiye, Suudi Arabistan ve Pakistan arasında imzalanan Mekke Ortak Savunma Anlaşması'ndan duyduğu rahatsızlığı da dile getirerek, Suudi Arabistan'ın Türkiye ile birlikte hareket etmeye başlamasının İsrail açısından "çok kötü bir gelişme" olduğunu söyledi. Netanyahu'ya en yakın isimlerden biri olan Savunma Bakanı Yisrael Katz da seçim kampanyasında Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ve Türkiye karşıtlığına başvuran isimlerden biri olarak öne çıkıyor. Sosyal medya hesaplarından yaptığı paylaşımlarında sık sık Türkiye'yi ve Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan'ı hedef alan Katz, bu paylaşımlarının çoğunu Türkçe yapıyor. Yine Netanyahu'nun partisi Likud Milletvekili ve Enerji Bakanı Eli Cohen, geçen ay yerel bir radyoya verdiği röportajda, "Türkiye, Suriye'de üs kurarsa biz de kurarız." diyerek seçim kampanyasında Türkiye karşıtlığını kullanacaklarının sinyalini verdi. İsrail'in Ebu Zuhur Askeri Hava Üssü'ne düzenlediği saldırının ardından Netanyahu ve ekibinin Türkiye karşıtı açıklamalarında gözle görülür bir artış yaşanıyor. Bazı muhalif liderler ve İsrail'de yayımlanan analizler hem Netanyahu hem ona yakın isimlerin Suriye'deki saldırıyı bir seçim kampanyasına dönüştürerek Türkiye karşıtlığına başvurduğu konusunda hemfikir. Demokratlar Partisi lideri Yair Golan, söz konusu saldırıyla Netanyahu'nun "küstah ve tehlikeli" bir hamle yaptığını belirtti. Saldırıyla birlikte İsrail'in "Türkiye ile gerilimi yükselttiğini ve ABD ile çatlağı derinleştirdiğini" ifade eden Golan, Netanyahu'nun siyasi hesaplarla askeri güç kullandığını, Tel Aviv'in güvenlik bakımından bunun bedelini ödediğini vurguladı. Eski İsrail Başbakanı Ehud Barak, 27 Ekim'de ülkede yapılacak seçimler öncesinde Netanyahu'nun güvenlik gerilimleriyle seçmenlere ulaşma siyaseti izlediği değerlendirmesinde bulundu. İsrailli siyaset yorumcusu Esther Solomon, Haaretz gazetesinde yayımlanan analizinde, Netanyahu'nun seçimler öncesi "bütün çabalarına rağmen" anketlerde istediği sonucu elde edemediğini ifade etti. Solomon, seçimler öncesi partisine ivme kazandırmak amacıyla Netanyahu'nun "muhalefeti bunaltmak, şaşırtmak ve yıpratmak için her türlü cepheyi kullanarak daha fazla oy toplamaya çalıştığını" vurguladı. Bir başka siyaset yorumcusu Jonathan Lis de Haaretz gazetesinde yazdığı yazıda, güvenlik ve diplomatik parametrelerin yanında siyasi konuların da Netanyahu'nun karar alma sürecinde rol oynadığını ifade etti. Lis, "İsrail'in ekim ayındaki seçimleri yaklaşırken özellikle Trump yönetiminin taraflar arasında sükuneti teşvik etmesi nedeniyle Netanyahu'nun Türkiye ve Suriye ile bir gerilimin tırmanmasını istemesi oldukça şüpheli." değerlendirmesinde bulundu. İsrail'de Türkiye karşıtlığı üzerinden yürütülen seçim kampanyası Netanyahu ve ona yakın isimlerin açıklamalarıyla sınırlı değil. Netanyahu'ya yakınlığıyla bilinen Kanal 14 televizyonu, Türkiye'nin işgal altındaki Doğu Kudüs'te bulunan Filistin nezdindeki Kudüs Başkonsolosluğu'nu hedef aldı. Kanal 14'te yer alan haberde, Türkiye'nin Kudüs Başkonsolosluğu'nun bulunduğu binada, "izinsiz tadilat yapıldığı" iddia edilerek, İsrail'e bağlı Kudüs Belediyesi'nin denetim yapmasına izin verilmediği belirtildi ve Başkonsolosluk binasının dışarıdan çekilmiş görüntüleri ekrana yansıtıldı. Buna ek olarak İ24 televizyonunda, Türkiye'nin Doğu Kudüs'ü kontrol altına almaya çalıştığı dile getirilerek Türk kurumları ve derneklerinin kentteki faaliyetlerine ilişkin bir belgesel yayımlandı. Belgeselde, Türk kurumları ve derneklerinin kentteki Filistinlilere yaptığı insani yardımlara geniş yer ayrılırken, Doğu Kudüs'teki Yunus Emre Kültür Merkezi'nin faaliyetlerine de yer verildi.
