Judo milli takımıyla 8 ay önce çalışmaya başladığını hatırlatan İtalyan başantrenör, "Benden önce sporcuların ne yaptıkları ve nasıl çalıştıklarıyla ilgili konuşmak istemiyorum. Takımın şu anki durumundan bahsetmek istiyorum, şu anda Judo Milli Takımı gelişmiş durumda ve gelişmeye de devam ediyor. Biz bu takımı, 2028 Los Angeles Olimpiyatları'na hazırlıyoruz, hedefimiz 2028 Los Angeles." diye konuştu. Vismara, ay-yıldızlı judoculara öğretmek istediklerinin iyi bir karşılıkla alındığını ifade ederek, "Takım içinde çok güzel bir ambiyans var, takımdaki herkes ilerleme kaydediyor ve herkesin hedefi olimpiyatta madalya kazanmak." dedi. Her şeye rağmen kazanmak gerektiğini ifade eden Vismara, "Gürcistan'daki şampiyonada ilk gün Tuğçe Beder'in maçını izlediyseniz, teknik heyetin çeyrek finalde verdiği kararlardan dolayı yarışmayı kaybetti. Tabii optimist olmak istiyorum, her türlü zorluklara rağmen olayların iyi yanlarını görmek, umutla yürümek istiyorum ve şu an bütün amacımız, hedefimiz olimpiyat madalyasını kazanmak üzere çalışmalarımızı sürdürmek." şeklinde konuştu. Türkiye'nin judoda 2000 yılından bu yana olimpiyat madalyası kazanamadığının aktarılması üzerine de İtalyan teknik adam, şunları dile getirdi: "Şu anda 48 kiloda, 73 kiloda, 81 kiloda, +100 kiloda yani her kategoride çok iyi sporcularımız var. Fakat olimpiyat madalyası kazanabilir diye bir isim vermek çok zor çünkü geleceği tahmin edemem, bir sihirbaz da değilim. Gençlerden de yetişen 2028 Los Angeles'ta yarışabilecek sporcularımız var. Titizlikle çalışacağız." Judonun ana vatanı Japonya'da veya İtalya'da bu sporun daha iyi yapılıyor olmasıyla ilgili de Vismara, "Japonların teknikleri, hareketleri çok üstün seviyede. İtalyanların da her olimpiyatta madalya almak gibi bir geleneği var ve olimpiyatlara çok fazla sporcu gönderiyorlar. Milli judocular için Türk stilini değiştirmeyi doğru bulmuyorum, gerekli olan sadece bazı şeyleri eklemek ve bunları geliştirmek." dedi. "Ay-yıldızlı judoculardan olimpiyat madalyası kazanmaya kadınlar mı yoksa erkekler mi daha yakın?" şeklindeki soru üzerine ise Vismara, "Bence Türk judoculardan kadınlarla da erkeklerle de olimpiyat madalyası kazanmaya yakınız, şu an iki taraf da gelişmekte, iki tarafı ayrı ayrı düşünmek doğru olmaz." yanıtını verdi. Vismara, judoda kuralların değiştiğini ve yeni kuralların hocalar tarafından bile anlaşılmasının tamamlanmadığını da vurgulayarak, "Kurallar çok değişti, yani puanlama sisteminde ippon (tam puan) ve waza-ari (yarım puan) kararlarının ne zaman, nasıl ve hangi koşulda verileceği henüz netlik kazanmadı. Bir maçta ippon veya waza-ari verilen karar, başka bir maçta aynı şeye verilmiyor. Bu kararların netleşmesi gerekiyor." yorumunda bulundu. Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı ile Türkiye Judo Federasyonunun; tesisleşmeye, spora ve sporcuya desteklerinin çok pozitif olduğunu da ifade eden Vismara, "Devletin spora ve sporcuya desteği çok iyi." diyerek açıklamasını tamamladı.
