Emergency services scrambled to the scene following reports of a fight at the Newmarket High Street at 3.40pm.The 71-year-old was raced to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he died 10 days later on March 18.Levi Williams, of Holland Park, Newmarket, was initially charged with the man's murder but prosecutors accepted his guilty plea to manslaughter at Peterborough Crown Court on Friday.The 26-year-old was bailed and is due to be sentenced on June 4.Article continues belowAs well as Wingrove, two other men reportedly sustained injuries in the fight and were taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged.Williams was arrested from the scene, initially on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.Two other people were arrested, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and a 45-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of affray.
