Jason Hoganson, who attacked his ex-partner after being released from jail, died earlier this month, aged just 55 years old.Hoganson, who played a leading role as a Geordie character called Pete in the 1988 film Empire State, was photographed giving a thumbs up as he walked out of HMP Durham on September 10. The tattooed convicted criminal had served just half of his 18-month sentence for assaulting his ex-partner, Rachel Usher. Shockingly, just a day after his release, he turned up at her home and attacked her once more.When he was due to face trial in October 2024, the court was told that Rachel had tragically died that same day.
