'It's launching soon right?': Strange videos by White House questioned

ALBAWABA - The White House posted strange videos yesterday on Instagram and X platforms, but deleted them quickly after, sparking controversy and igniting speculations.

One of the videos, only 3 seconds, featured a woman's brown skirt and heels, then a female voice from the background saying, "It's launching soon, right?"

The 3-second footage also contained the words "Sound on". Some claimed the woman speaking in the video could be Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary.

However, shortly after posting, the White House deleted the cryptic 3-second video.

The second clip, posted later, showed a static black screen with a phone notification sound and a glimpse of an American flag.

Many theories emerged online, with some claiming that the accounts of the White House were hacked. One said, "Did the White House account get hacked?"

On the other hand, others claimed that this was a secret meeting regarding Iran and the videos were deliberately shared to show that U.S. President Donald Trump is not planning to end the war with Iran.

Some activists said that this could be a meaningless mistake made by the person responsible for the social media accounts of the U.S. president.

One said, "It's a human behind the handle who is posting it. So, mistakes can happen."

A person commented, "The flag at half-staff — a quiet but powerful symbol of national mourning. A reminder that behind every headline, there are lives, stories, and sacrifices."
