ardından Milli Eğitim Bakanı Yusuf Tekin'in paylaştığı mesajın okunmasıyla başladı. Mesajında, zirvede ele alınan başlıkların, çağın kırılmalarını doğru okumayı ve bu kırılmalar karşısında insanı merkeze alan bir eğitim anlayışını yeniden düşünmeyi gerekli kıldığını aktaran Tekin, özellikle yapay zeka, dijitalleşme ve hızla değişen bilgi dünyasının eğitim sistemlerini değerler, anlam ve yön tayini bakımından yeniden değerlendirmeye davet ettiğini belirtti. Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modelinin de tam olarak bu ihtiyaca karşılık geldiğini akademik başarı ile ahlaki olgunluğu, beceri ile şahsiyet gelişimini birlikte ele alan güçlü bir eğitim perspektifi sunduğunu vurgulayan Tekin, "Bilgiyi irfanla buluşturan, insanı merkeze alan ve bireyin potansiyelini bütüncül bir yaklaşımla geliştirmeyi esas kabul eden bu maarif anlayışını güçlendirmeye kararlıyız. Biliyoruz ki bunu ancak el birliğiyle gerçekleştirebiliriz." ifadelerini kullandı. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Özel Eğitim Kurumları Genel Müdür Yardımcısı Mehmet Baran, zirvenin açılışında yaptığı konuşmada, eğitimin geçirmiş olduğu sürecin çok hızlı evrildiğini gördüklerini aktardı. Yapay zekanın hayatın her safhasına girdiğini dile getiren Baran, Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli'nin de ülke adına oldukça önemli hedefleri içinde barındıran iddialı bir çalışma olduğunu söyledi. Baran, "Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli'ni ilk başta çok sert eleştirilerle karşılayan eğitim camiası, içselleştirmeyi hemen yapıverdi. Çünkü amacının iyi insan yetiştirmek, geleceği şekillendirmek olduğunu kısa sürede anladılar ve yapılan eleştirilerin büyük bir çoğunluğu da çöpe gitmiş oldu." dedi. Şeyh Galib'in, insanın hayatın özü olduğunu ifade eden beyitini paylaşan Baran, "Eğer siz insanı yapmış olduğunuz eğitim faaliyetinde merkeze almazsanız, insan olarak ona değer vermezseniz, duygularını, hedeflerini, hissiyatını, inançlarını, yaratılışındaki gerçekleri kabul etmezseniz, insanı tehlikeli bir şeye dönüştürürsünüz. Eğer yaratılışına uygun bir halde değerlendirirseniz, bütün teknolojileri onun evinde değerlendirmeye çalışırsanız da insanlığın önünü açarsınız." değerlendirmesini yaptı. Baran, sürekli teknolojinin insanları esir alıp almayacağının konuşulduğunu kaydederek, "Ben bu neslin özgür bir nesil olduğunu düşünüyorum. Bizim zihinlerimizde, bizleri bir yerlere bağlayan, devasa halatlar vardı ama bu gençlik özgürce bir şeye inandığı zaman onun durduracak hiçbir şey yok. Yeter ki siz ona gerçeği, hakkı ve hakikati öğretin. Bizim temel hedefimiz, Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli'nde iyi insan yetiştirmek, hepinizin hedefinin de iyi insan yetiştirmek olduğunu biliyorum." ifadelerini kullandı. Başakşehir İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürü Ahmet Coşkun da insanlık serüveninin bugün bilginin ve algoritmanın hüküm sürdüğü bir eşiğe geldiğini söyledi. Dijital dönüşüme işaret ederek, yapay zekanın artık sadece teknik bir araç değil, insan aklının imkanlarını genişleten bir yetkinlik alanı oluşturduğunu ifade eden Coşkun, "Adaleti sadece algoritmaların soğuk hesaplarına, vicdanı ise işlemcilerin mekanik hızına hapsettiğimizde, insanlığın binlerce yıllık ahlaki mirası, verilerin gürültüsü altında boğulma riski yaşamaktadır. Mesele sadece teknolojinin ne kadar akıllı olduğunda değil, bizim o akılla hangi ahlaki zeminde nasıl bir dünya inşa edeceğimizde gizlidir." diye konuştu. Coşkun, insanın yalnızca bilgi toplayan bir varlık değil, varlığa anlam katan ve etik sorumluluk üstlenen bir özne olduğunu belirterek, şunları kaydetti: "Bu hakikat zemini üzerine Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli de çağın karmaşası içerisinde bir istikamet olarak yükselmekte, insanı yalnızca zihniyle değil, kalbiyle ruhuyla iradesiyle ve bedeniyle bir bütün olarak ele alan bir eğitim tasavvuru olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. 'Dünya beşten büyüktür.' diyerek adaleti evrensel bir çağrıya dönüştüren irademiz geleceğin eğitiminde yalnızca teknolojiyi uyum sağlayan değil, teknolojiyi anlamlandıran ve onu erdemle yoğuran yetkin ve erdemli nesillerle hayat bulacaktır."
