koordinesinde, İstanbul İl Jandarma Komutanlığı, Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığı ve MİT Başkanlığının etkin işbirliğiyle, uluslararası uyuşturucu ticaretine büyük bir darbe vurulduğunu belirtti. Piyasa değeri yaklaşık 500 milyon lira olan 106 kilogram kokainin Panama bandıralı bir gemide ele geçirildiği bilgisini paylaşan Gürlek, şunları kaydetti: "Devletimizin güçlü koordinasyonu sayesinde düzenlenen başarılı operasyonla sokaklarımıza ulaşamadan engellenmiştir. Cumhurbaşkanımız Sayın Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın güçlü iradesiyle ortaya koyduğu 'zehir tacirlerine karşı sıfır tolerans' ilkemiz doğrultusunda, sokaklarımızı bu illetten temizlemeye, baronların kökünü kazımaya kararlıyız.
