Daraa, July 28 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out a new incursion into the outskirts of Wadi al-Raqad in the western Daraa countryside, southwestern Syria, on Tuesday, advancing from the Tal Abu al-Ghaithar area.
SANA’s reporter in Daraa said that two Israeli tanks and a military vehicle entered the outskirts of Wadi al-Raqad and opened fire toward the area. No casualties or material damage were reported.
Israel has continued to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests, land bulldozing and shelling targeting civilians.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Syrian territory, stressing that all Israeli measures are null and void under international law and carry no legal effect. It has also urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
