Israel: 2 bodies found in wreckage of Haifa building hit by Iranian missile

ALBAWABA - Israeli media reported that rescue teams recovered the bodies of two people from under the rubble of a building in Haifa after being struck by an Iranian missile on Sunday.

More people are still missing, and search operations continue in the location of the incident. The Jerusalem Post mentioned that efforts are ongoing to rescue two trapped in Haifa.

Two bodies were pulled from under the rubble at the site of an Iranian ballistic missile attack in Haifa, rescue services revealed early Monday, as a fresh barrage targeting the same area lightly wounded four others and caused damage to buildings.

The Times of Israel cited the Fire and Rescue Service, which said that following hours of efforts alongside the Home Front Command, rescuers were able to save "two trapped individuals found under the rubble without signs of life."

"Rescue operations and attempts are still ongoing at this time in an effort to reach two additional trapped/unaccounted-for individuals," the service said.

In addition,  Israeli media reported Monday that three people were injured, including one seriously, in central Israel, in the latest missile barrage from Iran. 

Fragments from an Iranian multi-warhead missile hit 15 locations in and around Tel Aviv.
