Loughman Shaffie, 35, was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault over the incidents on the Elizabeth Line on March 6 last year. He was acquitted of a third sexual assault charge linked to a separate incident on the same Tube line on February 24 of the same year. The teenager said she was groped while travelling between Goodmayes and Whitechapel in a video interview played for the jury. 'I thought maybe it was a coincidence. He kept moving closer to me. I thought what is going on here? I felt really uncomfortable,' she said. 'I feel something touching against my bum. I looked behind and I saw the exact same person... I didn't want to be here.' She said she left the station as quickly as possible after arriving at Whitechapel. The schoolgirl said Shaffie followed her up an escalator and touched her again.
