Iran warns it will 'return to war' if Strait of Hormuz control not recognised

Iranian Parliament's National Security Commission Spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei said on Tuesday that "the end of the ceasefire should not lead to an extension of the ceasefire," Iranian semi-official Mehr News Agency reports. Rezaei emphasised the need for recognising Iran's rights, including its control over the Strait of Hormuz or else it would "return to war" with US-Israeli forces. "We've been called this morning by the right people, the appropriate people, and they want to work a deal." As negotiations wrapped up, both sides blamed each other for the failure.
