Eski Cumhurbaşkanı Reşid ise Amedi'ye yeni görevinde başarılar dileyerek, ülke çıkarları doğrultusunda başarılı bir dönem geçirmesi temennisinde bulundu. Irak Meclisinde dün yapılan ikinci tur oylamada Cumhurbaşkanı seçilen Nizar Amedi, sonrasında Mecliste yemin ederek görevine başlamıştı.
