Inside the Democrat plot to deploy Hunter Biden as secret 'MAGA whisperer' to capture disillusioned Trump supporters amid midterms desperation

Democratic strategists tell the Daily Mail they view Hunter as an important voice to instill 'credibility' for their party heading into the midterm elections. He's an unusual choice, sure, as he was scrutinized for taking money from foreign interests during his father’s presidency.  But Democrats believe those accusations pale in comparison to the Trump family’s growing wealth. Democrats are tracking the Trump family's increasing wealth since the President returned to the White House, alleging corrupt foreign investments into their cryptocurrency business, pay-to-play business deals, and lucrative government contracts awarded to businesses connected to the family.  'It’s helpful for the party because he breaks through in a unique way about the historic corruption in Trump’s Washington, on platforms that few Democrats go on,’ former Biden spokesman Andrew Bates told the Daily Mail. While Hunter is not likely to hit the campaign trail for Democrats, strategists believe he will serve as an important messaging figure for the young independent podcast  audience that swayed toward Trump.   Hunter plans to continue his public messaging campaign, sources told the Daily Mail, both on social media and other podcast appearances in the upcoming days. He's his own man now, as the family and their handlers are allowing him to speak on his own. Now seven years sober, he wants to speak frankly about his struggle with addiction and respond to the attacks against him and his family. But most of all, he wants to call out what he believes is perceived hypocrisy from the media for failing to investigate the Trump family. Bates said Democrats appreciated Hunter Biden’s authenticity, which was clearly having an effect. ‘He’s also direct and personal in a way that connects; no facility lounge tone,’ he said. On social media, Hunter tried to rally his followers in a populist revolt against the Trump campaign. He argues that Trump's supporters were duped by the President, and that he and his allies were part of the corrupt 'Jeffrey Epstein' class all along.  ‘We're being divided on purpose by the Epstein Elite Oligarch class because as long as we're at each other's throats, they get fat and rich off of our misery,’ he wrote. Hunter Biden is also working to rekindle his feud with CNN’s Jake Tapper, repeatedly taunting the veteran news anchor who wrote a best-selling book about his family’s efforts to hide President Biden’s mental and physical decline. ‘F**k Jake “Brick Tamland” Tapper on any timeline,’ he wrote, referring to the awkward nerdy weatherman character played by Steve Carrel in the news comedy film ‘Anchorman.’ Hunter reportedly told Tapper when they met during a Super Bowl event in 2018 'I would knock you out' if they were not in public. Despite a long history of taking money from foreign interests, Hunter Biden revealed he is ‘millions’ of dollars in debt and at the age of 54, needed to find a way to make money. Hunter created a YouTube account and launched his own account on X, in the days surrounding his interview with Owens and began engaging his critics on social media in earnest. That has led to some speculation that Hunter will start his own podcast. A Daily Mail request for comment to Hunter Biden was not returned. Hunter threatened to steal the spotlight this week with his aggressive messaging, even as Jill Biden made the rounds on her own book tour. President Biden himself tried to make a splash with a surprise cameo at his wife’s book event, but his son’s online antics were drawing more attention. ‘This crackhead has a lot to say so buckle your seat belt my friend,’ Hunter wrote on Thursday. Even President Donald Trump took notice of Hunter’s messaging blitz, when asked by Fox News host Peter Doocy if he ever thought he could run for president in 2028. Trump quipped that Hunter’s past was ‘not the greatest’ for a political run, but that perhaps he could succeed in today’s Democratic Party. When someone on social media asked Hunter if he was considering the idea, Hunter replied, ‘I am now.’ Hunter Biden appeared on the Shawn Ryan show to share his story of recovery and healing  Hunter Biden's 'Laptop from Hell' was released on the internet, which included photos of a man in the throes of a crack addiction  The youngest Biden son has a long history of privately expressing his frustrations with his father’s handlers, tellingly in a February 24, 2019 text thread with his father where he raged about a Maureen Dowd column about his politically inconvenient struggles. Hunter believed that Biden’s team planted the story, trying to write him off. ‘Your team just made me the uncontrollable, troubled tax cheat philanderer sex and drug addict that you tried so hard to fix but couldn’t,’ he raged. ’They just totally wrote my life away.’ His father urged his son to continue rehab and focus on recovery ahead of his upcoming presidential campaign announcement. ‘If you don’t run, I’ll never have a chance at redemption,’ Hunter replied. The youngest Biden son tried to tell his story about his struggle with addiction and his fight to keep sober in his ‘Beautiful Things’ memoir in 2021, but it was largely ignored despite sitting down for a few interviews. Hunter Biden also made some attempts earlier this year to enter the podcast ecosystem, after his father was unceremoniously forced out of his reelection campaign and his replacement Vice President Kamala Harris lost the 2024 presidential election. His appearances with podcast hosts Andrew Callaghan and Shawn Ryan drew some attention, including a viral clip about why smoking crack cocaine was so addictive. That authenticity, Democrat strategists conceded, could draw a sympathetic audience, as part of the redemption story that he has long been seeking. It's unclear how serious he is about running for office, but he has noted sardonically that all of his dark secrets were made public after his infamous 'Laptop from Hell' was leaked to the press and published online.   When one follower asked about potential presidential campaign slogans, Hunter joked, ‘How about “Let’s take another crack with a Biden."
