The Indianapolis Colts had to wait to make their presence known at the 2026 NFL Draft.They didn’t have a first-round pick on Thursday night and traded back on Friday night with the Steelers, sending the Nos. 47 and 249 overall picks to Pittsburgh for Nos. 53, 135 and 237.Now with eight picks over the weekend, they have plenty of roster needs as they seek to end a five-year playoff drought. Their most glaring holes are at defensive end and linebacker. Kwity Paye is now with the Las Vegas Raiders, opening a spot on the edge opposite Laiatu Latu. The Colts must also replace a starting linebacker after trading Zaire Franklin to the Green Bay Packers.
