I'm A Celebrity's Ashley Roberts and Gemma Collins share heartbreaking reaction to the Adam Thomas drama

The drama surrounding I’m A Celebrity…South Africa’s explosive final that aired last night is showing no signs of slowing down. Following Adam Thomas ’ win, his fellow celebrity campmates continue to comment on the controversial All Stars series. Ashley Roberts and Gemma Collins have both expressed emotional reactions to Adam’s win as it came amid tensions between him, David Haye and Jimmy Bullard during the live final. Following previous accusations of bullying towards the actor, which he denied, David Haye confronted Adam, 37, over an argument he had with Jimmy Bullard earlier in the show. On Tuesday night’s episode Jimmy chose to quit the show which meant that Adam would have to leave by default given the rules of the show after they were paired together. This caused considerable tension in the camp. However, show hosts Ant and Dec revealed a surprise U-Turn when they announced Adam was permitted to continue on in the jungle after his campmates agreed it was ‘unfair’. When Jimmy, 47, shared his version of events last night, tensions reached boiling point prompting Sinitta and Gemma to storm off in frustration as Adam and Jimmy clashed. Ant also waded in for it to be met with an emotional reaction. Given the drama, it’s hardly spring that Waterloo Road star, Adam, appeared subdued following his win as it came after a heated exchange. In what should have been a happy moment, Adam’s moment was overshadowed by the ongoing fueds. It’s something that was touched on during the after show, I'm A Celebrity ... Unpacked Live with hosts Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers questioning the campmates. Ashley, 44, made a heartbreaking observation about the actor’s win. She went on to say: "I hope Adam enjoys it, I think he's been through so much, and I just hope that he can take a second, because I feel like he doesn't feel like he maybe deserves it because he's won." Equally as effected by the impact the final had on Adam Scarlett Moffatt added: "He does deserve it. It was hard in there, and he was amazing, and he was a friend to us all. " She then said: "It is really disheartening that he didn't get to have that moment of glory." Echoing the sentiment Gemma said, "The best man won! It was positive, like what is such a shame about tonight, I'm just going to tell it how it is." She added: " We had such an amazing experience in there. We had a ball. It was tough, it was raw, it was hard. " The reality TV star went on to say: "You know, but it was fun. It was fun and I just don't get where the negativity is coming from." Like this story?
