The 52-year-old was airlifted to hospital following the incident and died at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle on March 7. Fellow inmate Anthony Russell, 43, has been charged with his murder.Huntley, a former school caretaker from Soham, Cambridgeshire, had been serving a life sentence with a minimum term of 40 years for the murders of 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.
