استقبل قائد الجيش العماد رودولف هيكل في مكتبه - اليرزة المنسقة الخاصة للأمم المتحدة في لبنان Jeanine Hennis – Plasschaert، وتناول البحث الأوضاع العامة والتطورات في لبنان والمنطقة. كما استقبل رئيس جمعية لابورا الأب طوني خضره مع وفد، في زيارة تضامنية، أكد خلالها أنّ المؤسسة العسكرية هي الضامن الوحيد للبنان، واعتبرها خشبة الخلاص الوحيدة في ظل التحديات الداخلية والخارجية التي تواجهها البلاد.
