The room was filled with Montagliani’s family, friends, and dignitaries including Fifa General Secretary Mattias Grafström, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia Wendy Cocchia, and Anthony von Mandl, a Vancouver billionaire whose businesses include White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Más+ by Messi. MLS commissioner Don Garber sent his congratulations from across the continent.
