So here we go again. Yet another story about two-tier Britain and yet another police force. As if we haven't seen enough of this elsewhere.

Let's take our justice system. Vikram Diwas’s 53-year-old mother was handed just three years in jail, which is likely to mean that she's out by Christmas or may even spend her sentence at home. Utterly ridiculous.

We saw what many believe is a case of two-tiered justice. It seems police forces around the country are still training their officers to take a two-tier approach.

This time it's Northamptonshire Police who, it transpired, have since 2022 been encouraged to discuss why equality and diversity are so important to them as police officers.

So they're having diversity training, sucking up vital time when, in my view, they should be policing.

There are trainers running these sessions, so the classes aren't free, which means taxpayers are picking up the tab for this tosh. But it gets worse.

The officers are then asked to listen to a story of two witches named Gwendoline and Gregor. One is good-looking. Guess which one? And one is ugly and disfigured.

The story assumes that officers will pick the ugly witch as the criminal.

The story is called the Witches of Glam. It should be called a time-wasting pile of poop.

I mean, seriously, they're trying to help the officers understand unconscious bias by, in my view, instilling a bias that ugly people don't commit crimes.

Northamptonshire Constabulary spent £11,644.30 on externally sourced dye between 2025 and 2026, and listen to this: They spent £405,000 a year on eight full-time diversity staff whose services are spread across the police, fire, and the crime commissioner.

A Northamptonshire spokesperson said that we are committed to ensuring that “our workforce has the knowledge and skills required to serve all communities fairly, effectively and in accordance with the law.

“The training materials referenced in your inquiry are designed to support staff in understanding equality legislation, recognising bias and delivering services that meet the needs of our diverse communities. The materials referenced trends related to the growth of far-right groups in the UK and Europe since 2016 and included reference to the EU referendum. However, the material does not state that the referendum caused those trends.”

If you think this is a one-off, think again.

Surrey Police Constabulary are asking its officers to write a 500-word reflection on how they can help build an anti-racist police force.

This sounds great until you hear that they're also taught to report non-crime hate incidents, which are particularly targeted hate towards a person's particular characteristics.

Surrey Police are also told to avoid certain words like able-bodied. They’ve been told to avoid the word "blind," using "visually impaired". I mean, it's utterly ridiculous.

How about this? Why don't they all focus on solving crime? Given that I think it's around about 94% of crimes that go unsolved.

Treat everyone as equals under the eyes of the law, not a waste of taxpayers' money on absolute guff.

I actually feel very sorry for the officers. They can't do wrong from right, and after this awful training. No wonder crime is off the scale.
