June is the transitional month from spring to summer, ushering in warmer temperatures and the first peak of the grass pollen season. Grass pollen is the most common allergen and affects the majority of hay fever sufferers and is typically released from mid-May until July. But grass pollen season has two distinct peaks, the first of which occurs early this month, followed by a second smaller peak in early July.
